Abstract
â¶Neurokinin-3 (NK3) receptor-dopamine interaction in the ventral tegmental area (VTA). â¶Activating dopamine receptor changes NK3 receptor densities in VTA dopamine neurons. â¶No significant changes are seen in non-dopaminergic neurons of the VTA. â¶Dopamine-dependent plasticity in VTA NK3 receptors might contribute to schizophrenia.
