Abstract
â¶Sympatho-sensory control in a peripheral neuroeffector junction regulates motor tone. â¶CGRP inhibited sympathetic-transmitter release, reducing tissue motor tone. â¶H-89 blocked CGRP-induced presynaptic inhibition through cAMP/PKA signaling pathway. â¶Capsaicin mimicked the CGRP inhibitory action and reduced tissue tone. â¶P2Y1/P2Y2 ATP receptors inhibited ir-CGRP release and increased tissue tone.87
