Abstract
â¶We developed a new wavelet based approach to quantify hippocampal theta oscillation. â¶Atropine-sensitive theta oscillations are mediated by Cav2.3 R-type Ca2+ channels. â¶Cav2.3 channels determine the architecture of atropine-sensitive theta oscillations. â¶Interaction with Cav2.3 Ca2+ channels might thus improve cognitive processes.
