Abstract
â¶We described DAGLα mRNA and protein distribution in rat forebrain. â¶We highlighted olfactory system, rostral migratory stream, neocortex, septum, thalamus and hypothalamus. â¶DAGLα distribution, compared to that of CB1, MAGL and FAAH, is consistent with multiple roles for endocannabinoids in synaptic plasticity. â¶This description provides some insight into the potential physiological and behavioral roles of the endocannabinoid system.
