Abstract
â¶People with Friedreich ataxia (FRDA) may have impairment in psychomotor capacity. â¶We used a motor task incorporating Fitts Law to further examine cognitive capacity. â¶People with FRDA were impaired moving to targets with greater index of difficulty. â¶Prefrontal regions are necessary for effective management of movement preplanning. â¶In FRDA disturbed cortico-cerebellar loops restricts access to prefrontal regions.
