Abstract
â¶Skilled forelimb use was examined in the context of PH stimulation. â¶PH stimulation was applied to haloperidol- or vehicle-treated animals. â¶PH stimulation restores locomotion but disrupts skilled forelimb use. â¶Dorsal border of the PH appears to be the best site for eliciting locomotion. â¶PH stimulation reverses akinesia, but not skilled forelimb use in learned behavior.
