Abstract
â¶C57BL/6 and BALB/c strains differing markedly in anxiety behaviours. â¶BALB/c mice are sensitive to social stressors of both short and long duration. â¶C57BL/6 mice are only sensitive to the effects of chronic stressors of long duration. â¶These data highlight different coping strategies to stress between these strains.
