Abstract
â¶Regular and moderate exercise is considered an interesting neuroprotective strategy. â¶Neuroprotective properties of exercise could be related to histone modifications. â¶Exercise reduced HDAC and increased HAT activities in rat hippocampus. â¶Exercise appears to induce histone hyperacetylation. â¶The effects may be related to acetylation levels through HAT and HDAC activities.
