Abstract
â¶Arc gene expression after novelty in FC is dependent on 5-HT2AR neurotransmission. â¶The inhibition is pharmacologically characterized. â¶The role of 5-HT2AR is site specific. No effect is observed in the hippocampus. â¶Increase in Arc mRNA and plasma corticosterone is activated via distinct mechanisms.
