Abstract
â¶Addressing the novelty of therapeutic approach of multimodal iron chelating compounds. â¶Iron chelator M30 possesses various neuroprotective effects in mouse brain. â¶M30 activates HIF-1 signaling pathway and up-regulates specific HIF-target genes. â¶M30 up-regulates the expression of neurotrophic factors and antioxidant enzymes. â¶M30 induces pro-survival cell signaling cascades.
