Abstract
â¶We studied cerebral activations due to the trigeminal component of an odorant in fMRI. â¶We focused on the time course of activations depending on the duration of the odorant stimulation. â¶Caudate nucleus and orbito-frontal cortex are involved in short-duration stimulation. â¶Posterior insula, post-central gyrus (SI), middle cingulate gyrus are involved in long-duration stimulation.
