Abstract
â¶Olfactory and vomeronasal influences converge greatly in the salamander CNS. â¶A subset of CNS neurons receives direct input from both olfactory systems. â¶The salamander main olfactory pallium is identified in caudal cerebral hemispheres. â¶Olfactory systems are likely extensively integrated within the CNS of vertebrates.
