Abstract
â¶Two isoforms of RET receptor were studied immunohistochemically in rat olfactory system. â¶RET9 was expressed by olfactory receptor neurons throughout the neuroepithelial sheet. â¶RET51 was restricted to ORNs situated in ventromedial-lateral regions of neuroepithelium. â¶Both were present in bulb with RET51 expression correlating with the ORN projection.
