Abstract
â¶Expressions of PAP-I (Reg2) and PAP-III after seizure were examined. â¶PAP-I and -III were expressed in hippocampus and parahippocampal area after seizure. â¶The expressions were observed at a maximal level 1 day after seizure. â¶The majority of positive neurons co-localized with c-Jun, but not with GAD. â¶The results may suggest that PAP inductions would protect neurons against seizure.
