Abstract
â¶BCNU-treated rats represent a model of cortical dysplasia. â¶Cortical heterotopia develop during embryonic life. â¶Cortical and periventricular heterotopia show a pseudo-laminar structure. â¶Radial glia and tangential fibres are disarranged. â¶The ventricular zone and the neuroependymal are partially disrupted.
