Abstract
â¶PDGF+FGF2 maintain oligodendrocyte progenitor cells (OLPs) in an immature state. â¶Activation of Erk signal is sufficient to maintain OLP in an immature state. â¶In OLP, Hes1 is induced by PDGF+FGF2 treatment via Erk signal. â¶Hes1 suppresses OLP maturation. â¶Erk negatively regulates OLP maturation by cell cycle progression and Hes1 induction.
