Abstract
â¶This study aimed to determine the effect of color information on face perception. â¶We measured event-related potentials during the presentation of bluish-colored faces. â¶A blue (atypical) face color increased the amplitude of N170 but did not affect gamma-band activity. â¶Face color is important for the initial detection of a face.69
