Abstract
▶Blockade of NMDA receptor in the prefrontal cortex cause attention deficit, increased glutamate release and CREB phosphorylation in the PFC. ▶These effects are prevented by activation of mGlu2/3 receptors. ▶Modulation of glutamate release and CREB phosphorylation are implicated in the control of attention.
