Abstract
These data provide evidence that neuropathic pain after SCI is caused by decreased GABAergic signaling in the ZI. Furthermore, our data demonstrate that infusion of a GABAergic drug into the ZI could restore its inhibitory action and improve neuropathic pain behaviors.
