Abstract
In Algeria, there are many isolated sites which are not yet connected to the conventional electrical grid and face severe problems of water for domestic consumption and irrigation purposes. There are some photovoltaic water pumping system (PVWPS) which are situated in remote areas. Due to the high cost of setting up and maintaining a large number of PVWPS, we present in this project a methodology for setting up several PVWPS with optimal sizing corresponding to the low cost. This project presents a design of a universal data acquisition system for Algeria with available components and easily accessible with a central server. We present a network architecture of the control system for several stations.
