Abstract
► We measured event-related spectral perturbation (ERSP) in humans performing a hand mental rotation task. ► This hand mental rotation task elicited greater alpha-band power suppression over central-parietal regions. ► A significant negative correlation was found between central alpha suppression and reaction times (RTs). ► Our findings indicated that parietal and motor cortices are involved in mental rotation.
