Abstract
⺠CD133+ cells coexpress higher levels of ADAM17 in both U87 glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs) and primary human glioma samples. ⺠ADAM17 blockade depletes CD133-positive cells and inhibits neurosphere formation in GSCs. ⺠ADAM17 inhibition induces GSCs neurosphere differentiation. ⺠ADAM17 knockdown decreases Notch signaling pathway activation.
