Abstract
⺠Complexity differences of brain between healthy females and males were analyzed. ⺠The results showed greater fractal dimension (FD) and complexity in females. ⺠93.1% accuracy in discrimination of females and males based on FDs. ⺠Delta, alpha, and beta bands are the frequency bands that contribute most to the gender differences in brain complexity. ⺠Left hemisphere brain works more complex than the right hemisphere brain, and this laterality is much greater in females.
