Abstract
⺠Activation in right inferior frontal gyrus accounted for 29% of variance in lying performance. ⺠Lying activated right rostrolateral prefrontal cortex-a key cognitive control region. ⺠The working memory network was activated more when lying about perceptually fluent stimuli.
