Abstract
⺠Harmine displays selective efficacy against different drugs of abuse in vivo. ⺠Harmine preferentially antagonizes cocaine-induced stereotyped responses in planarians. ⺠Harmine efficacy against cocaine is reduced by a glutamate transporter subtype 1 (GLT-1) inhibitor. ⺠Harmine displays efficacy against methamphetamine. ⺠Harmine displays efficacy against the psychoactive bath salt compound mephedrone.
