Abstract
► Aberrant splicing of zebrafish psen1 leads to incorporation of intron sequence into transcripts. ► Zebrafish maintain normal psen1 transcripts and accumulate aberrantly spliced transcripts. ► Forcing Psen1 protein in zebrafish suppresses psen1 transcription. ► Maintenance of normal psen1 transcript levels appears important for Psen1 protein regulation.
