Abstract
⺠The hippocampus neuron of the aged impaired mouse is under oxidative stress. ⺠Nrf2 levels appears to decline with aging. ⺠Allicin treatment significantly ameliorated ageing-induced cognitive dysfunction. ⺠Allicin treatment reduced oxidative damage in the hippocampus of aged mouse. ⺠Allicin treatment enhanced Nrf2 antioxidant signaling pathways.
