Abstract
⺠We examine effects of methamphetamine and MPTP on the retinal dopaminergic system. ⺠Neither low or high dose of methamphetamine affected dopamine or its metabolites. ⺠Low-dose MPTP significantly decreased DOPAC and HVA concentration. ⺠High dose MPTP produced significant depletion of both DA and its metabolites.
