Abstract
⺠Certain problems are inherently difficult for the normal human mind. ⺠Yet paradoxically they can be effortless for those with an unusual mind. ⺠We found that tDCS can enable the solution of such an extremely difficult problem. ⺠No participant solved the 9-dot problem before stimulation or with sham stimulation. ⺠But with our atypical tDCS protocol, 40% of participants solved the problem.
