Abstract

âº APP is known to associate with NMDA neurotransmitter receptors. âº APP mutations causative for familial early onset Alzheimer's disease were generated. âº Mutated APPs behaved as wild-type APP in terms of association with NMDA receptors. âº Mutated APPs promoted cell surface trafficking of NR1/NR2A and NR1/NR2B subtypes.
