Abstract
⺠Men and women have dimorphic responses to emotional vocalizations according to the sex of the voice. ⺠Both men and women show increases in parahippocampal response to laughter of the same sex. ⺠Both men and women show increases in posterior cingulate response to crying of the opposite sex.
