Abstract
⺠We screened drug compound library and identified Mefloquine, an anti-malarial drug as an autophagy inducer. ⺠Suppression of autophagy increased Mefloquine-mediated neurotoxicity. ⺠Thus, modulation of autophagy may help to efficiently regulate the neurological side effects of Mefloquine.
