Abstract
⺠The study tested a novel endophenotype-cognitive vulnerability to depression. ⺠BDNF Val66 genotype was associated with high levels of cognitive vulnerability. ⺠BDNF Val66 genotype predicted depression in high-risk participants with stress. ⺠Results support the use of cognitive vulnerability as an endophenotype.
