Abstract
⺠We investigate the ERP component of comprehension of strong non-factive verbs. ⺠We compare it with the false belief thinking based on standard nonverbal tasks. ⺠Results show mostly similar patterns of signal distribution for the two activities. ⺠Hence false belief and its grammatical device may have common neural basis.
