Abstract
⺠The effect of MK-801 and cycloheximide on DSIP inhibition of c-Fos was studied. ⺠DSIP decreased the number of Fos-immunoreactive cells in the pPVN. ⺠MK-801 prevented the inhibition of c-Fos expression by DSIP in the pPVN. ⺠Cycloheximide prevented the inhibition of c-Fos expression by DSIP in the pPVN. ⺠DSIP effect on c-Fos gene expression might be mediated by NMDA-receptors.
