Abstract
⺠The effects of D2 blockade on attention in rats following vestibular loss were studied. ⺠Eticlopride was administered before a 5 choice serial reaction time task (5CSRTT). ⺠The drug caused a decreased response, but less for vestibular-deficient rats than controls. ⺠D2 receptor levels in the frontal cortex were similar to controls. ⺠These data suggest that vestibular loss changes sensitivity to eticlopride.
