⺠Isoflurane impaired the cognitive functions of aged rats. ⺠Isoflurane down-regulated the nNOS expression in the hippocampus in aged rats. ⺠Hippocampal nNOS may involve in mechanism of isoflurane-induced cognitive impairment.
