Abstract
⺠First study of anticipatory postural control (APAs) in multiple sclerosis (MS). ⺠Individuals with MS demonstrate smaller APAs and diminished directional control. ⺠MS group demonstrate larger center of pressure displacements during balance restoration phase. ⺠Impairments of APAs are manifested in balance control of individuals with MS.
