Abstract
⺠Lycopene protects cortical neurons against Aβ-induced neurotoxicity. ⺠Lycopene inhibited the Aβ-induced reactive oxygen species generation. ⺠Lycopene inhibited the Aβ-induced mitochondrial membrane potential alteration. ⺠Lycopene restored the levels of Bax, Bcl-2, and caspase-3 activity.
