Abstract
⺠Disrupted integrity of callosal and anterior paralimbic white matter was common to bipolar I and II disorder. ⺠Disrupted association fibers in frontal, temporal and parietal regions may be specific to bipolar I disorder. ⺠Structural brain abnormalities in bipolar II disorder are limited to neural circuits processing emotion.
