Abstract
⺠We investigated RNA expression of serotonin receptors after spinal cord injury (SCI). ⺠Complete transection was performed at T10 level to minimize extracellular serotonin. ⺠5-HT2AR mRNA expression was upregulated below SCI. ⺠No changes in 5-HT2CR mRNA editing or expression were detected. ⺠The findings suggest that 5-HT2CR editing is not regulated by extracellular serotonin.
