Abstract
⺠TgCRND8 mice were used. ⺠Aβ-glial reaction-driven apoptosis and cortical gliogenesis were investigated. ⺠Apoptotic and inflammatory markers were highly expressed in the TgCRND8 mice. ⺠Neurons of TgCRND8 mice displayed higher nuclear expression of NF-kB than controls. ⺠Gliogenesis was present within Aβ plaques in the neocortex of TgCRND8 mice.
