Abstract
⺠Repeated blast exposure reduced AChE activity in whole blood and erythrocytes. ⺠Frontal cortex showed acute increase in AChE activity after blast exposure. ⺠Repeated blast exposure showed chronic increase in AChE activity in the medulla. ⺠Differential brain regional AChE activity may be related to uneven blast injury. ⺠AChE inhibitor treatment can be used to mitigate medullary injury in blast exposure.
