Abstract
⺠Little is known about mechanisms of oscillatory activity in STN in now day. ⺠We studied the resonance characteristics of STN neurons using patch-clamp. ⺠There is a θ-frequency resonance mediated by Ih current in individual STN neurons. ⺠The resonance of STN neurons is temperature- and voltage-dependent. ⺠The resonance mediates a coupling between inputs and firing.
