Abstract
⺠miRNA-146a is a brain-enriched miRNA involved in inflammation in multiple human brain cell types. ⺠miRNA-146a is up-regulated in human brain cells stressed with Aβ42 peptides + TNFα. ⺠Up-regulated miRNA-146a was found to be associated with down-regulation of CFH, IRAK-1, and TSPAN12. ⺠Different brain cell types each respond differently to Aβ42 + TNFα-triggered stress.
