Abstract
⺠Foot loading and plantar sensitivity were assessed before and after running. ⺠Long distance running has no significant acute effect on plantar sensitivity. ⺠Plantar pressures were not significantly affected by the run. ⺠No relevant correlations between foot sensitivity and foot loading were found. ⺠Investigating the effects of longer distances than 10 km may be of further interest.
