Abstract
► Foot loading and plantar sensitivity were assessed before and after running. ► Long distance running has no significant acute effect on plantar sensitivity. ► Plantar pressures were not significantly affected by the run. ► No relevant correlations between foot sensitivity and foot loading were found. ► Investigating the effects of longer distances than 10 km may be of further interest.
