Abstract
⺠Behavioral studies with athletes show superior ability of action anticipation. ⺠Participants watched clips of badminton games and predict ball trajectory. ⺠Professional badminton players showed larger amplitude in the P300 than controls. ⺠The effect is interpreted to reflect primed-activation of domain-specific knowledge store. ⺠Results identify the neural correlates of action anticipation in sports expertise.
