Abstract
⺠Rats show exploratory preference to the object in novel place even with 24 h-delay in spontaneous place recognition test. ⺠Preference to the object in novel place in spontaneous place recognition is sample phase length-dependent. ⺠The first 1-2 min of the test phase should be analyzed in spontaneous place recognition test.
