Abstract
⺠TFPI-2 expression is absent in the majority of high grade glioma cell lines. ⺠Knockdown of TFPI-2 enhances glioma cell proliferation, migration and invasion. ⺠The anti-invasive properties of TFPI-2 are associated with MMP-1 and MMP-2 inhibition. ⺠TFPI-2 is an important tumor suppressor and frequently lost during gliomagenesis.
