Abstract
▶ The principle of Weber's law was used to examine grip aperture shaping. ▶ We computed just noticeable differences for grasping differently sized objects. ▶ JNDs scaled to object size early, but not late, in the grasping trajectory. ▶ Grip aperture is subjected to an early adherence and late violation of Weber's law.
